Why I LOAVE Yanfly, and thoughts on RPG Maker MZ

Notice: Please take this post with a grain of salt.

So, I've started making a game engine for The Windwalker of all Times in RPG Maker MV. It seemed fun, but I felt that some things weren't

t that convenient when developing in MV. Plugin commands, 3D issues, and stability. I was going to make my common events for the engine first, and then go to MZ for development, but I just felt bored and saw a video about RPG Maker MZ. It seemed magical to me! A 3D Effekseer animation system, layering, stability, default plugins, and VisuStella instead of the misery that is Yanfly. Now let's go on to her. She's a very nice and dedicated person, but her plugins are "limited only" where I all of the sudden started MV in 2021, and boom! Yanfly plugins are only available in pairs. A battle $10 collection, and all of the plugins for $30. Like why? Some plugins I need for my game need to be individually sold. With MV3D, it won't work. And that's a reason I moved to MZ, VisuStella. Unlike Yanfly, VisuStella costs money for individual plugins, and they are individual. Most people say RPG Maker MZ isn't that different from MV, but it's very different for professionals and amateur skilled people, but them only. RPG Maker is great for me, since I hate the drag-and-drop interface they offer. Like seriously, how would this even work for an RPG? I'm glad I moved to MZ, because it made game development relaxed.
